I can’t hide it: I love Stella & Dot jewelry. My biggest weakness are their FABULOUS statement necklaces. As far as I’m concerned, the bigger the better. Problem is, the bigger… the more costly. Which, if you’re thrifty, is tough. Dropping $100+ or even $200+ on a necklace for my wedding was a tough pill to swallow. I ended up not doing it.
Fast forward to about a month ago… Shannon IM’s me over Facebook asking if I want to hold a S&D Trunk Show. Considering the fact that I have a few friends who are consultants… and more importantly, ZERO free time, I suggested we maybe host a trunk show on the blog… and pair it with some guest posts.
Shannon is my old (and by “old” I mean “from a long time ago” — she’s by no means “old”) cheer coach from high school. When I think of how I want to coach my kids, and the type of influence I want to be for them, it’s Shannon who inspires me! When I think of people who kinda shaped me, the people I remember… she’s there. Not only is she there, forever emblazoned in my mind, she’s ALWAYS looking cute. That would be why she’s a stylist and always looks fabulous… so, we’re going to be partnering up for some posts over the next couple weeks!
One thing Shannon is REALLY good at is justifying prices I asked her to write a bit about how to pair some of my favorite Stella & Dot jewelry with different outfit options… making that $100+ necklace more accessible and justifiable!
Just think: You really COULD splurge and buy a $140 necklace for your wedding… *if* you could wear it a bunch afterwards. So, up first is my favorite: The Palamino Necklace. It could go great with your wedding dress, a cute maxi, and even a white T and jeans… (let’s talk about how much I love those coral sandals for a moment, shall we?)

Accessories always make the outfit. Don’t you love how you can take a necklace and pair it with a great little black dress, then wear it a day later with a white tee shirt and both looks are polished? That is the beauty behind bling! It’s job is to make you feel great every time you put it on.
That’s what makes Stella & Dot jewelry so irresistible. They have a complete line boutique style jewelry created for today’s modern woman. Half of the line is under $50 and many of the pieces are designed to be worn multiple ways. Having versatile jewelry makes each wear a bang for your buck!
The Palamino Necklace is the Summer Collection’s best seller (and Nicole’s favorite…)! The beautiful coral beads accented with a vintage looking gold finish is this season’s go to necklace. It looks awesome paired with navy, white, green, tan and blue. Pop it on with this super fun maxi dress from Target and grab a pair of wedges and you have an effortlessly chic look that screams “this outfit is super expensive!” But really you just got a steal on a spectacular statement necklace and budget friendly maxi!!
Have a white t-shirt hanging in your closet? Perfect! Pop on The Palamino and your favorite shorts or jeans and you are making a stylish statement on the go!
