#280: Wreaths and Weddings

Gone are the days where “wreath” is synonymous with “Christmas.” Cast away that thought and check this out:

A) A wreath doesn’t have to go on a door
B) Wreaths can go on doors when it’s not Christmas time
C) After reading this post, you may be wanting a wreath for your wedding (then for your door)

A while back, I partnered up with Eight Tree Street to give away a custom bouquet. Maribel of Eight Tree Street also creates gorgeous custom wreaths for just about any occasion. The idea for this post came from one of the comments on the giveaway post… someone had the excellent idea of ordering a wreath for their wedding – to place over the hearth at their wedding/reception location. LOVE the idea.

I love the idea of using wreaths at weddings because:

A) The circle symbolizes… you guessed it… never ending love (I know it’s cheesy, but it’s true!)
B) They can be used more than once (hellooooo, budget win): at your shower, hanging from an arch (or tree? doorway?) behind you when you say your vows, behind your sweetheart table at your reception, church doors, reception doors… and thennn HOME DOOR! How better to be welcomed home after your honeymoon than with your gorgeous wedding wreath on your door?
C) They add some floral flare without totally breaking the bank – they can dress up any door, wall, chair back, etc!

Check out some great back-story about wreaths at weddings here.

And, if you want to get your own wreath(s)… obviously, check out Eight Tree Street and tell Maribel that Nicole of Big Day for $10K sent you!
