…seriously. High five for getting through this crazy week.
Obviously I’ve been quiet for a while — honestly, I apologize. Between Mr. Man’s physical therapy and doctors’ appointments, me traveling for work, coaching (my kids won 2nd place last weekend!), and squeezing sleep in wherever I can, I’ve been totally swamped.
Some things that have happened as of late:
- The center stone fell out of my engagement ring … oops, gone, dunzo, dammit. Don’t fret … the jeweler has deemed it their fault and they’re sourcing a new diamond and fixing the ring free of charge (thank god)
- Competition season is ramping up for my kids – our two big competitions are on the 16th and 23rd so PLEASE cross your fingers and send good joo-joo … I have an awesome team and we’re hoping that this is the first time since 2007 that we make it to regionals
- We went to a Redskins game (in the cold rain) and someone broke the windshield of my brand new car … $500 later (my deductible, unfortunately it was going to be over $1K so I had to file a claim) a windshield is on order and is going to be installed next week sometime (hopefully) — oh, and the Skins lost (even more awesome)
- I can’t think of anything else, so I’m going to move on to my High Five For FRIDAY post now:
I made this Redskins/Ravens wreath for my friend living in Texas (she HAS to represent DC sports down there)
I attended (and worked) MarketingProfs B2B Forum in Boston… complete with fake moustache and fedora.
My kids took 2nd place at their first competition of the season!!!!! (insert REALLY BIG, PROUD SMILE here)
We went to see the Skins play (and lose to, unfortunately) the Falcons and had kick ass 100-level seats in the endzone!
Happy Friday
we’re off to a wedding this weekend… shout out to Kerry: can’t wait to see you looking gorg on Saturday! xo <3
